 1) January Meeting

Integrating Visual SourceSafe with Visual Studio
Source code control allows groups of developers to work together
without danger of overwriting each others work. It allows tracking,
monitoring and recovery of older source code. Visual SourceSafe (VSS)
is Microsoft's source code control product for Microsoft Visual Studio.
In this session, we will walk through the steps of installing and
configuring VSS for multiple developer access over a network,
demonstrate how VSS can be integrated directly into developer's IDEs,
and review the essential maintenance needed to keep VSS working smoothly.
Add-on products and the latest news will also be covered.

The speaker Ted Roche is the Director of Development at Blackstone
Incorporated, a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider based in Waltham,
Massachusetts. Blackstone specializes in consulting, development and
support of the Microsoft Windows NT, BackOffice and Visual Studio products.

A six-time winner of Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional award,
Ted has contributed to seven books; his latest effort was to co-author
the critically acclaimed "Hacker's Guide to Visual FoxPro 6.0"
(http://www.hentzenwerke.com).
Ted is a Contributing Editor at FoxPro Advisor magazine where he has
co-authored the
"Ask Advisor" column for the past five years. Ted has been a Microsoft
Certified Professional
since 1994 and holds the titles of Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
