Jon will be discussing a wide variety of techniques and technologies for making effective use of available information for solving problems inherent in web-based business applications. Data mining, DSS, CRM, OLAP, ROLAP, EJB, XML, click trails, cookies, etc. We'll take a look from a technical perspective at some of the tools and technologies available to help collect, organize, and present this information for effective analysis. About the speaker: Jon Christensen is the president of elytics.com, an e-business solutions company focusing on strategic customer and commerce analysis of data gathered from web, commerce, application, and ad servers. Jon has taught at Harvard college and Harvard extension school as well as lectured at a number of industry trade shows. Jon received his A.B.
