Location: Microsoft's Multipurpose Room 1, 6th floor, 230 Third Ave, Waltham, MA, which has Parking and has Wheelchair access. Bad Weather: Look at http://www.bwug.org for a change in the "traffic light" associated with the meeting - it's green for go, yellow for caution and red for cancel. From Third Ave, turn left onto Fourth Ave immediately after the Westin. Go to end, turn right and follow signs for Prospect Place. Bear right at the fork and follow signs to Visitor Parking. One possibility is John Stroiney, Channel Marketing Representative for Microsoft, on "Living the Web Lifestyle". John was our January 2000 speaker and we need feedback on your interest in this - we will be asking at the February meeting. The other is BWUG's Bob Smith a with review of tests of Veritas's (formerly Seagate) Backup Exec, V 4.2 and of other software. Also see below on testers needed. If we have John in March, we would have Bob in April. Bob Smith needs people who have run or will run Backup Exec V 4.2 and provide info on their experiences. We will have a copy of the product available at the February meeting. If you are already running Version 3.01, there is a free upgrade on the web. http://store2.veritas.com/VERITAS/sframe.asp?fname=product.asp&product_no=bedesktop This above has to be all in one line! One can also order a CD for $10 at the above web site or by phone, but the web "shopping cart" would not work for me. Contact Bob Smith at bob_smith@juno.com We need more participation from you: what could YOU (or people you know) present to the group this year. ****** Future BWUG Event ****** Saturday, April 8, 2000, 1 - 3pm, Special Event ----------------------------------------------- Microsoft eXtreme #6 Satellite Broadcast ======================================== Millenium, Pocket PC and FrontPage 2000 *************************************** A free, live broadcast to 30 movie theatres across the United States.
