Subject: Nejug Meeting Announcement

First, I wanted to remind you that in case you haven't
already voted for a NEJUG logo, please cast your vote
at http://www.nejug.org/logos.htm. Right now logo #6
is in the lead, with logo #2 not far behind. We will be
announcing the new logo at the next meeting.

Second, just a reminder that the next NEJUG meeting
is on Thursday, August 17th at the Sun Campus in
Burlington from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Directions are
posted on the web site. This months meeting is on
Java and Wireless Communication Technology. We will
start the meeting with a discussion and resolution of
the job recruiting issue, and then have a brief
discussion about the life (or death) of Java Applets.
During the main part of this meeting we will
be investigating wml, wap, xml, and how Java is used
in conjunction with these technologies to provide
services to the wireless communication industry.
Technical representatives from PointBase will be
giving a technical presentation on these wireless
technologies and show us how they are using wireless
technology and Java at their company.

Also, we will be having another large book raffle
from books supplied by the folks at Addison-Wesley.
We will also be supplying pizza and soda's for the
meeting.

I hope to see you there, and again, if you cannot
make it by 5:30, please show up late - your attendance
and participation are important!
